What is the International Ching Sai Do Federation?:

 WHAT IS CHING SAI DO?

Throughout the world numerous styles of hand and foot fighting have been developed. Each style reflects the need of the time as well as the varying historical and cultural backgrounds of the originating country. As each new style evolved, it has been improved upon.

The problem, however, was that for various reasons the good techniques and self defense developed within one system were not allowed to be learned or taught within another. For example, the joint-locking and wrist techniques of Hap-Ki-Do were kept from Tang-Soo-Do practitioners, the dynamic kicking of Tae-Kwon-Do and Muay-Thai are not taught in Okinawan Karate, not is the small circle theory of Jujitsu taught along with the fluid movements of Kung-Fu. Because of this, countless dedicated Martial Arts students have been robbed of practical, useful instruction.

The Art of Ching-Sai-Do attempts to remedy this loss of mutual awareness. Ching-Sai-Do means, “The Way of Combat” and its Board has attempted to incorporate as many different arts as possible. The International Ching Sai Do Federation Committee is comprised of Black Belts from a wide variety of different arts. Our goal is to educate instructors and students alike in as many techniques as are available in order to produce a well-rounded Martial Artist.

The incessant bickering between different styles is not tolerated within the Ching-Sai-Do organization. No one is presented as the “best” and no art is slighted as not being worthy of study. All certified International Ching Sai Do Federation (ICSDF) schools may call on instructors of other ICSDF schools to hold seminars within the ICSDF system to expand the knowledge beyond their present style.

The cadre of instructors available in the ICSDF organization makes it possible for cross training Black Belts through several seminars or special instructional sessions. The committee does not attempt to regulate any individual school or charge fees or dues. The organization is to advance the knowledge of all styles in a spirit of brotherhood.

Even today the Martial Arts is evolving. Because of this growth the ICSDF was born. The International Ching Sai Do Federation is becoming one of the fastest growing organizations in the world today.

If you have the knowledge necessary, have an open mind and a desire to be affiliated with a true Martial Arts brotherhood. One that believes in no games, no prejudices and promotes on knowledge, not just for money. If this is what you are looking for, then the International Ching Sai Do Federation is for you.

ICSDF instructors are available for possible cross-training Black Belts through several seminars or special instructional sessions. The ICSDF does not attempt to regulate any individual school; its purpose is to advance the knowledge of all styles in a spirit of brotherhood.

Advanced rank can be awarded for degrees of Black Belt by giving credit for various styles of Black Belts held. Black Belts must have been awarded through legitimate schools by certified instructors in that style or system. Advanced degrees may be awarded by the recommendation of the ICSDF Board only.
